Founder & Developer
GovIS, LLC
Michael's professional IT career began in 1986 in Southern California as a technician connecting the first generation Mac's, laser printers, and postscript typesetters and beta testing
the first Desktop Publishing software package, Aldus Pagemaker (now Adobe InDesign). However, he actually started writing code when he was 13.
From there, he moved into system engineering with Inacom, the world's largest computer reseller at the time. Michael designed and implemented systems and
networks for several large companies such as Bank of America, Baxter Healthcare, Yamaha Motor, and Petersen Publishing. Later, Michael was recruited by Disneyland as a Systems
Engineer. Soon thereafter he moved into their new software systems group, where he led a team that developed many client-server applications for their Sales, Marketing,
Entertainment, and Hotel divisions. With a growing family, Michael decided to move to Northern California, where he eventually founded GovIS, LLC in 2003.
Michael is responsible for managing the company, leading projects, and still writes a fair amount of code. His business vision, attention to detail, and ability to really
listen and understand the client provides a foundation for successful projects.
Michael attended Goldenwest College, UC Irvine, and has received many technology industry certifications.
